Elena Olsen is a Resource Management Officer with Parks Canada where she leads the vegetation management team for Banff (Lake Louise section), Yoho, and Kootenay national parks. Her background is in Plant Science and Entomology, working on vegetation diversity monitoring, invasive
vegetation management, and biological control. She has become an amateur birder since moving to Radium Hot Springs in 2020.
